The Original Request

Complete kitchen renovation, including relocation and installation of a farmhouse-style sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher, propane range (stove), oven, and refrigerator. Installation of new cabinets, hardwood flooring, an island, granite countertops, tile backsplash, recessed LED lighting and a chandelier, new paint, a new rear exterior door, and a custom butcher block countertop.

Work You Won't See in the Photos

Complete relocation of the dishwasher, sink, and garbage disposal required a licensed professional to run water supply and drain lines to the necessary area.

Installation of the propane stove required a licensed professional to install the propane tank and lines, pressure test them, and connect them to the new propane stove.

Relocation of the fridge and stove required running electrical lines to the required areas, installing GFCI outlets per building code, and running a new water supply to the fridge.

Installation of recessed lighting required running new electrical lines to all new lights. Additional electrical work required tracing old outlets to ensure all circuits in the house were safe and up to code.

What Was Completed

Design of the new kitchen layout, including working with the customer to properly plan the intended flow paths for effortless kitchen use, while ensuring the beauty expected of a custom kitchen.

Removal and disposal of all outdated appliances, cabinets, lighting, flooring, the old exterior door, and the old sink. Installation and routing of all utilities necessary for the updated appliances, sink, and propane stove. Installation of additional outlets for ease of kitchen use, including on the side of the kitchen island. Repair of all subfloor damaged by water from a previous owner. Drywall patchwork to ensure the kitchen would be seamless at project completion.

Installation of recessed LED ceiling lights and a chandelier. Installation, hanging, and leveling of all cabinets and the island, as well as installation of all pull knobs and hardware. Installation of custom board and batten wainscoting on the island. Installation of a custom farmhouse kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Installation of granite countertops. Installation of the propane range and hood, and of tile backsplash around the entire kitchen. Building and installation of a custom butcher block countertop.

Installation of the rear exterior door and trim around the entire kitchen. Installation of hardwood flooring and baseboard. Installation of all appliances, including the electric double oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Painting of the entire kitchen in premium eggshell paint on the walls and premium ceiling white on the ceiling. Caulking of all cabinets and trim. Painting of all trim in premium semi-gloss white or paint-matched to the cabinets.

Complete cleanup and disposal of all garbage and remnants created by the job, while leaving leftover work materials, such as flooring, in case of future accidents.
