The Original Request

Customer requested a custom shiplap entertainment center with a flush-hung television; routing for television power, video input, cable box, and soundbar; an inset electric fireplace; and a custom white oak mantel and crown molding for a premium look and finish.

Materials Used

Primed finish pine boards, crown molding, trim, primed pine shiplap, 2x4 studding/framing, 12/3 wire, high-capacity telescopic television mount, premium electric fireplace, screws, finish nails, caulk, wood filler, floor protector, and oak hardwood.

Work You Won't See in the Photos

A licensed electrician ran 12/3 feed wire for the electric fireplace and installed the necessary circuit breaker for the associated feed line.

What Was Completed

CCB protected all surfaces from the house entrance to the workspace. CCB then custom built framing to support the television, electric fireplace, mantel, soundbar, and finish surfaces.

CCB installed pine shiplap and custom trim around the entertainment center, television, and fireplace, and built and installed a custom white oak hardwood mantel.

CCB also installed the electric fireplace, television and mount, and soundbar, and correctly routed and installed all wiring and connections.
